Anastasya

Poland – 2025/06/10

Anastasya, 20 – feels excited, confused, and powerless when thinking about climate change: “The world is so strange. I want to change it – but I feel it’s not in my power to change this.”

She first heard of the topic in school and started searching for more. Since then, it has settled into her body – “Creepy… I feel it like a tingling in my hands.” Hot summers now shape her behavior: “I used to feel calm in summer. Now I only go out early or late.” Images of “dead fish” appear when she tries to imagine the future. A card made her pause: “Do I have to change something?” She believes the planet needs support, but she also doubts herself: “I don’t have enough competence to think globally.” Still, she engages, feels, reflects – and keeps asking.

“I want to change it – but I feel it’s not in my power to change this.”

“When I close my eyes, I see dead fish.”

“I used to feel calm in summer. Now I only go out early or late.”
